Rental of Hall & Equipments

How long does it take the Council to approve any rental application?
Approval will be given immediately after all conditions have been fulfilled.

When can one make the necessary payment for hall rental?
Payment must be made at least 2 weeks before the intended event

Must payment be made by check?
Payment by check will only be accepted if it is made 2 weeks prior to the event. If payment is made 1 week before the event, only cash payment is accepted.

Will the Council assist in hall and facilities arrangement for any event organized by the hirer?
No, we will not assist the hirer to arrange the facilities required for the event.

Will additional equipment or extended time be made available should the event require such actions?

• Additional Equipment
  Additional equipment will be provided based on the availability of the equipment
• Extended Time
  • Extended time will only be allowed should there be no other hirer wishing to use the hall immediately after the event.
  • However any extended time after 12 midnight will not be allowed unless a police permit is obtained.

Can the Council immediately cancel my booking without giving prior notice?
Immediate cancellation can only be made if the hall is required for any state or federal government function.

Rental Of Badminton Court

How does one get to enjoy the badminton court facility available at the Seremban Municipal Council Multi-purpose Hall?
In order to enjoy the above facility, bookings can be made at our service counter at the Administration and Personnel Department, Level 1, Seremban Municipal Council.

How does one know whether the courts are available or have been booked by another party?
To obtain such information, you can contact us by calling 06-762381 extension 1212. Our staff is ever willing to assist you.

Banner Permit

Do we need to pay any fee should the banner be displayed on private property?
Yes, banners that are displayed on private property for business purposes must first obtain a permit from the Council and they will be charged accordingly.

Is there any limit to the use of the banners?
Normally, the permit for any banner is for 3 months and it can be renewed provided the banner is still in good condition, fit to be displayed.

Will the deposit for lost banners be refunded?
Yes, it will be refunded.

Can a banner permit issued by the Council be used outside the vicinity of Seremban Municipal Council?
Absolutely no! Hirer must obtain the banner permit from the respective Local Government Authority where the banner is to be displayed.

Is there any form of exemption given to any party with regard to the charges imposed on the display of banners?
Yes, especially to the State Government of Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus.
