Rental of Facilities
1. Can a hirer apply for additional facilities or extension of time of the rental immediately if the situation or the hirer’s event requires it?
  Additional facilities can be leased if the same is available in the Council storage area. Additional time can be granted if the Hall has not been booked by another hirer immediately after the said event.
2. Can my booking be terminated immediately without prior notice?
  Yes, if there is an official Council or State Government event scheduled to be held at the same venue and a full refund will be given to the hirer.
3. Would the Council assist the hirer in arranging and positioning the furnishings and equipment for the event to be organised by the hirer?
  No, arrangement of furnishings and equipment must be done by the hirer.
4. Can payment be made by cheque?
  Payment by cheque can be accepted if the booking is made 2 weeks before the proposed event is held. Payment must be made in cash if the booking is made a week prior to the proposed event is to be held. Hirer is encouraged to make payment as soon as possible.
5. When must the rental fee for the hall or facilities be paid?
  Payment must be made at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
6. When can the approval for the rental of the hall or facilities be issued?
  Approval can be granted immediately after all conditions have been satisfied.
