Whenever any rateable holding is sold or transferred it shall be the duty of the seller or transferor and purchaser or transferee within three (3) months after such sale or transfer to give notice thereof  to the local authority in Foem I.

It is important for the seller or  transferor  and buyer or transferee to execute this action in order to ensure that the registered name and address of the holding owner is up to date in the Valuation List.

Procedures :-

  • Submit  notice in Form I. 

  • Attach the required documents and provide the necessary information.

  • Submit them to:-

    VALUATION & PROPERTY DEPARTMENT
    SEREMBAN MUNICIPAL COUNCIL,
    LEVEL 5, SEREMBAN PARADE,
    Dato` Bandar Tunggal Road,
    70000 SEREMBAN

Supporting Documents:

  • A copy of the document of title

  • A copy of the Sale & Purchase Agreement or Power of Attorney agreement,etc.

  • A copy of the latest assessment rate bill.

  • A copy of the owner's identity card
